History of Involvment in SMW Hacking and SMWCentral

  • July 2006 - Discovery of emulation
  • August 2006 - Began using SNES Emulation
  • October 2006 - Found FuSoYa's site and SMWCentral
  • January 2007 - Decided to join SMWC after a few months of lurking
  • August 2007 - Didn't post much at all until the forum wipe (He did read a lot of question threads and became skilled with SMW hacking programs)
  • October 2007 - Maintained some decent forum games on WoI
  • December 2007 - Learned the basics of ASM
  • February 2008 - Made his first ASM hack, an air meter. He started helping people with ASM questions. Almost left SMWC.
  • March 2008 - Started helping InvisibleCoinBlock (ICB) learn ASM
  • April 2008 - Made dozens of posts about ASM until August and submitted a few projects to the site.
  • November 2008 - Started and ASMTool editor that he rarely worked on. He visited the IRC quite a few times around then.
  • February 2009 - Only made one or two posts a month and didn't do too much SMW hacking
  • April 2009 - Became familiar enough with the SNES Development manual to make SNES mouse code for SMW.
  • May 2009 - Fixed up the SNES mouse code to make it presentable at C3. 8 trophies were awarded.
  • June 2009 - Decided that he really needed to focus on a hack and came up with some ideas with my brother (user Balrog/ZeroData) but they didn't really get much done
  • September 2009 - Started outlining preliminary ASM hacks as the foundation SMW Hack (dead project).
  • November 2009 - Iced off "Project 46." An ambitious project semi-related in nature to SMW hacking that is now again frozen but will possibly be continued.
  • April 2010 - Started using Linux and became more familiar programming. He made a few HTML5 expiriments related to SNES/SMW that have been linked in his signature.
  • June 2010 - Username change from 1024 to 0x400.
  • October 2011 - Still have made occasional posts, but has not progress on any useful HTML5 application. Likely done with SMW Hacking at this point but still visiting the site.
